Wyatt and wife Lynn are major donors to political causes: since 1989 they have given nearly $700,000 in contributions, of which more than $500,000 went to the Democrats.

3. You can't buy and sell everyone

Greed has its limitations. Some people want to take money from everyone else. Others want to make it. Running a business and making billions of dollars is not bad, so long as:

1. No rampant environmental destruction
2. Workers get paid for doing their jobs (benefits too)
3. No price gouging, kickbacks, or other underhanded earnings
4. No stock scandals, and
5. No political manipulations for personal gains

I'm sure that a lot of other people feel the same way, even in the oil business.
