Matt Lauer Skewered Bremer This AM on Today

An amazing interview....Bremer was caught flip-flopping on whether or not there were enough troops on the ground and was confronted with the Al Qaaqa videotape, and all he did was keep mouthing the same dreary lines.

I know he ususally doesn't do very well, but this morning he showed some balls.

P.S.: CBS this morning also played the tape from yesterday in which Giuliani BLAMED the troops...and then followed it with John Edwards slamming pResident Shrimp for hiding behind Rudy and shifting blame.

Bremmer was aware of the problems at Al Qaaqa and other munition depots around the country and stonewalled it. He knew those weapons had vanished and was questioned by the IAEA about this last MAY.

Here's hoping we're getting closer to the day when the Iraqi people get their real justice against these criminals who have done so much to destroy their country.

The lack of anyone in this regime assuming responsibility is so telling of both the sad state of the wingnut of thi country and their dangers.

I loved Matt dredging up the "we didn't have enough troops" and "we had enough troops" dueling Bremer quotes.

11. What was amazing

was that after Lauer showed Bremer saying first that we had enough troops and then that we didn't have enough troops, and after Bremer tried and failed to spin away the videotape of our troops finding the weapons, Bremer had the nerve to try the "John Kerry will say anything" line...

Bremer lamely replies, "Both!"
