I need a quick list of things Republicans are doing to supress the Democratic vote like destroying registrations - chalenging voters, absentee ballots.

Please post the tactic and a link to a good story about it. I'm trying to get a cheat list together for a friend who write articles and letters for publication.

~*~ Thanks in advance ~*~

When one see long lines and the slowness they trend to leave and go home without voting.

Vote as if your life depended on it, because it does.

Call 866 687-8683

When you call the hotline, be prepared to give your name, telephone number, and note as many details as possible, including the names of the people who are involved.

2. sproul's group tearing up Democratic registration forms
in Nevada and Oregon

no link... just google voter fraud las vegas and it will come up

also some GOP guy wouldn't allow thousands of Democratic registration forms to be accepted because the paper wasn't heavy enough. I kid you not. I forget where this was... FL or OH.

6. In Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, they're ....

...changing polling places in heavily Democratic precincts before Election Day. I went to the Scranton Times Tribune website last night and learned that the local Democratic Party had to sue to get mailings out (very last-minute mailings) to notify voters of the change. According to the news story, this could affect 10,000 voters. That doesn't sound like all that many, but remember Florida and multiply that effort times 50 or 100 and think what that means.

Here's the link:

http://www.zwire.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=13241445&BRD=2185&PAG=461&dept_id=415898&rfi=6

"Lackawanna County will make a rush mass mailing to more than 10,000 registered voters to notify them of polling place changes in Tuesday's general election.

"The mailing is part of a compromise reached Wednesday evening in U.S. District Court after the Lackawanna County Democratic Committee sued the county Board of Elections in an attempt to block the relocation of 15 heavily Democratic precincts to new polling places."
