are singles under-polled?
single people are less likely to be polled:

are singles under-sampled? probably; this is because they away from home in the evenings as compared to marrieds-with-children (comparing singles with marrieds-with-children who are otherwise in the same demographic group -- in other words, all else being equal).

when the pollster calls, the single person is out and about.

since there is a marriage gap in this election which is more pronounced than in previous elections, this skews polling in favor of Bush.

singles will upset the pollsters and bush on election day.

1. kerry has big lead on singles,because these fear losing their job
married people have two incomes, where you can depend on spouse till you get another job
