ARG POLLS : WI (K48-*47) ; Iowa (K47-*48) ; Oregon (K50-*46)
Kerry and Bush Remain Tied Among Likely Voters in Wisconsin

John Kerry and George W. Bush remain tied among likely voters in Wisconsin according to a survey by the American Research Group. A total of 48% of likely voters say they would vote for Kerry if the presidential election were being held today and 47% say they would vote for Bush. A total of 1% of likely voters say they would vote for Ralph Nader and 4% of likely voters are undecided.

Without Ralph Nader on the ballot, Kerry is at 48% and Bush is at 47%. In mid-October in the two-way race, Bush and Kerry were tied at 47% each.

These results are based on 600 completed telephone interviews among a statewide random sample of likely voters in Wisconsin. Of the 600 likely voters, 34% identified themselves as Republicans, 36% identified themselves as Democrats, and 30% identified themselves as independents. The interviews were conducted October 25 through 27, 2004. The theoretical margin of error for the total sample of 600 is plus or minus 4 percentage points, 95% of the time, on questions where opinion is evenly split.
