Damn, I wish NJ had early voting! I only hope that everyone is as pumped as we Dems are here in NJ. At local Dem hdq tonight we had 4 Repubs show up asking for Kerry signs and bumper stickers (we are cleaned out and can't get any more).

They took it well and then proceeded to tell us that while they were lifelong Repubs they thought Bush was reckless and were afraid their kids might wind up killed or wounded in one of his stupid, meaningless wars and that they were willing to do whatever was necessary to get rid of him. I've never heard such passion before by people who had previously supported a pol. It ended up with two of them offering to drive people to the polls and we were thrilled.

1. I hear ya friend

I voted the other day in Oregon, and I loved it. I prolonged the experience,sipping on a nice glass of wine. I started with the ballot measures and worked my way to the main course; I filled in that scantron circle oh so slowly, savoring the entire process. My neighbor let her kids (and one of mine) each fill out a small portion of the circle. Man, it felt great. I've been waiting three and a half years to vote against these fascists.

But now I've voted, and your opportunity is ahead of you, so savor the moment, my friend. You're gonna love it.
