They can play their little game of showing Bush in the lead, even when they know he's not.

Gallup and Fox News can hype the asshole, and when they are shown to be wrong, they have built in excuses.

"For the first time, many voters, perhaps as many as 20 million, were allowed to fly under the radar screen of outdated polling methods. Exit polling has revealed that many first time voters and young cell phone only users, broke heavily in favor of Senator Kerry."

"Adding the historical norm to the calculations where undecideds traditionally vote for the challenger, you can see how this result was difficult to depict by our conventional polling methods."
