he voted to give Bush the authority to wage war?

I believe it was dated October 2, 2002. I googled that date along with some other paramenters like Iraq, Kerry, vote... and I'm having a hard time.

I also believe that Kerry stated within that document that he was voting that authority contingent upon due diplomacy. I need to show that to a Republican... to show that Kerry did not vacillate on the issue. Who knows if I can gain a vote.

Anybody?
