that's my prediction. The Chimp will claim that one of our most-wanted evildoers has been cornered in the mountains of Pakistan or in a remote part of Iraq... a scenario which, under any circumstance, would take days to clarify. But, he will blow smoke about having captured a BIG TERRA-ist villain... to pull all those undecided, security conscious voters who are drifting away back to him in the final hours before the election.

The skunk will do SOMETHING, I believe, and issuing yet another TERRA alert is not grand enough.

1. He will just bawl like a baby
and aim for the sympathy vote.

2. You know what--I don't even think he's got the balls to try this at this
point. I think it would backfire on him. I'm not sure what they're going to pull out of their butts next but I don't think it's going to be this.

3. Does anyone out there remember
someone who looked remarkably like SMIRK telling the press that "he didn't know where bin Ladin was, and didn't waste any time thinking about him?"

4. yeah they've missed the window on this one. anything like that at this
point would just cast more suspicion on the 'we have OBL on ice just waiting for election' thing. It would be seen as the cheap ploy it is, and it'd blow up in their faces.

5. Except that we have heard it all before, and don't believe it.
Bush isn't going to make any announcement that calls his credibility into account at this time.

6. I swear I think it's so late in the game...
and folks are so entrenched that much of what is happening and will happen will be inconsequential --even that Osama thing. They would have had to have captured him in at the latest September. Now so many folks would be smirking and winking and saying it was held onto for votes....Everyone is jaded, cynical and exhausted.
