BOTH my Republican friends now think Bush will lose!
Edited on Tue Oct-26-04 12:48 PM by Quixote1818
Well, actually one is not a friend he is my Brother in Law who LOVES Bush with a passion but I discovered from my sister today that he thinks Bush will loose. My friend in Chicago told me that the first Debate absolutely doomed Bush! He use to send me all kinds of stuff and opinions on why he thought Bush would win. In the past two weeks he has sent me NOTHING and last night I talked to him on the phone and he admitted he thought Bush was going down because his numbers wont go above 50% and a week before election day with numbers like this means bad news for incumbent. All the ingredients are their for Kerry to win and now the polls are starting to show Kerry pulling even or even ahead. If Kerry is ahead by only one point in the polls Nov. 2nd he will win by four or five points. High voter turnout could make this even more lopsided. As long as Bush does not go above 49 to 50% I feel pretty good.

4. You have the right to remain silent. Any word you mispell from now on...
...may be used against you in the court of law.

7. Well that's good news, Quixote, but
Bush is definitely going to lose this election. Anyone who thinks differently has a screw loose.

17. You talkin to ME?
it specifically states in section 3, paragraph 1 of the DU penile code that use of the word "jackass" is expressly forbidden. This is a place for nice people to come and kiss each others heinies. Preferably with perfect punctuation. This is officer moon signing off....

18. Isn't it funny
that these 2 people can reduce the future of this country down to a "my team is better than your team" mentality? This isn't the Super Bowl.

I hope the emails your friend sent were not simply stories about how in a year ending in "0" the incumbent wins or something like that. I sincerely hope they were about WHY seemingly sensible people would vote for a complete failure. At least that would be an attempt at some sort of thought process.

19. My southern granny thinks he'll lose too
And she voted for him in 2000. Now she's voting for Kerry because she doesn't want to see her grandkids drafted.

I have another friend who was a bible thumper in high school and she voted for Bush in 2000 despite my efforts. Now in 2004 she's an out lesbian and is voting for Kerry!
