Iraqi explosives - two simple questions
We are lead to believe, by Drudge et al, that this is a "non story" because an NBC reporter didn't see the weapons when he arrived embedded with the American forces. It should be easy then to explain two things:

1) Why did the Iraqi interim government (our allies last time I checked) report that the weapons were there when the Americans arrived.

2) Why did the Bush Administration, rather than simply say the weapon were gone by the time we arrived, say they only found out recently, and have been researching what happened?

In several sessions with reporters, the White House spokesman, Scott McClellan, alternately insisted that Mr. Bush "wants to make sure that we get to the bottom of this" and tried to distance the president from knowledge of the issue, saying Mr. Bush was informed of the disappearance only within the last 10 days.

1. bush lies. A lot.
1. The NBC reporter was with the SECOND group of troops, 101st AB, to reach Al Qaqaa, on April 10, 2003.

But the FIRST group, 3rd ID, were there on April 4th, and as their report shows, they DID find the explosives, INTACT.

-The military has already said neither the reporter nor the 101st AB would know if they saw the explosives or not, as none of them were trained in explosives or NBC. (They are NOT sticks with "Dyn-O-mite" written on them!)

The explosives WERE IN AL QAQAA ON APRIL 4th 2003. FACT beyond dispute.

2. HUGE problem for bush here; Di Rita (Pentagon spokesidiot) has been saying bush knew the explosives were missing for 18 months. But Scotty-boy McClellan insists bush was only told 10 days ago.

Add to that, WHY then didn't bush give orders TEN DAYS AGO to secure Al Qaqaa??? There was still looting going on as of 3 days ago.

WHY didn't bush demand the ISG investigate TEN DAYS AGO??? Why did he not demand they investigate until YESTERDAY???

3. WHY does the bush hand-picked Iraqi interim government say bush & Cartel told them to KEEP QUIET and NOT tell the IAEA about the missing explosives???

4. WHY has there been so many different stories all in one day, from the White House over this all???

3. Two questions about missing explosives
Answer: The BushMen are scared shitless now and scrambling. Their defense on this issue doesn't even make sense. As usual they hope their base won't think it through and won't check the facts. And they probably won't.

You know they're desperate when they send out motherly and mean-as-a-snake matriarch Barb to try to drum up votes.
