41 times, I've heard. More times than he's been to his pig farm. It just seems oddly pathetic.

6. He could go to Utah 40 times.
He could say practically anything there and still get about 70% of the vote. :P

9. UT... just goes to show you that some states can't be saved today.
I like our chances of taking Texas better than taking Utah.

4. MSNBC just reported that shrub is going back to PA on Nov. 1.
They think Gore won PA with his last minute visits in 2000. It does sound desperate.

12. Yep. They said he'd make a last-ditch appearance in Philly Monday.
Hard for me to believe PA is still in play for Bush... wouldn't he be smarter to throw his hail-mary's in New Mexico and Colorado?

7. Not to me. It's a sign they think they have a chance of making
serious inroads into traditionally Democratic territory. That he thought he could take time away from Republican strongholds to venture into Kerry territory means that they are WAY confident, not the reverse.

After 41 visits Kerry is still up. So they've essentially wasted 41 campaign acts that would have been more effective somewhere else.

10. Well, THAT I wouldn't know about. I HOPE all it did was take time &
money away from campaigning in areas that would've helped * more.
