Just got home from Michael Moore at Kent State University
Edited on Sun Oct-24-04 11:18 PM by anti-bush on wheels
Micheal was in rare form tonight. I am an old protester from the early 70's and Kent State Basically Changed my life on that May 4th. I wondered how long it would take for him to mention the Four Dead in O-HI-O, well it was first on his list. The three republicans in the audience left pretty quickly....he hadn't even finished complimenting them. The DU Thread from last night about Green Bay got me to looking for any appearance in Ohio and damned if he wasn't right up the road tonight. It was truly awesome to hear the 6000 or so young folks get pumped up over a fifty-ish fat guy. He also had Roseanne Barr with him, she launched into a parody of the kool-aid drinkers, on why she liked Shrub. Then explained a few things about him to the crowd....about how they get to go to war via the draft, and when they get back a two-bedroom house will only cost $1 million, and the only jobs will be the walmart greater or night shift at the mcdonalds. Oh by the way did you know shrub has deficit attention disorder?? the humanity of it. Anyway if you get the chance to catch the Slacker tour, go for it, it is worth every penny just to see whats cookin with them thats doin!!!

4. Roseanne was with Michael last week in Orem, Utah.
Rosie grew up in Republican Mormon Utah, probably the only Jew in the state. But in Utah all NON-Mormons are called "gentiles" so Rosie was a gentile!!

2. I love Michael Moore.
He's my new hero! Thanks for the post! Is Michael feeling better? I know he was continuing to travel when he had walking pneumonia. He needs to take care of himself. I worry about him. Did he seem to be OK? I sure hope so.

5. Thanks for the reply
He had three guests, the lead singer from Rage against the Machine, and the Marine Corporal, Abdul from F/911 with him to help take up some of the speaking chores. He also showed a series of Bush ads that they made for the Repugs to use for free. He seemed just fine, but any kind of schedule like these guys undertake must just kick them in the ass. He is rocking the College Vote big time, but all my buddies from the MoveOn Pac were outside recruitng, as well as ACT and Vote Mob. It is a thing of beauty to see the unity in the movement.......But it is just begining, as Michael said tonight, never again will we let this country be taken down such road as the Repugs have in the last twelve years. He also shut up the Nader folks with Kindness, but told them that Ralph did his job moving the dems to the left again, but it is time to go home.......to start listening to the voters and go home.
