Idiot local TV anchor says Clinton will overshadow Kerry tomorrow
Nonsense. He may be able to lend his charisma to Kerry, but they will be equals on any stage they share.

1. and if he does
who cares? Its not like they can vote for Clinton and if they are in awe of Clinton, who's stumping for Kerry, its not as if that's gonna help Bush.

3. People Love Bill Clinton!
He can only do good for Kerry and vitalize the democrats even more, if that's possible.

4. They truly are idiots...
I can't even watch my local news any more. What is the deal with Clinton tomorrow? Speaking somewhere in Philly? With or without Kerry?

5. Bill Clinton will be a huge Asset
Seeing him will remind people how good it could be again with the right party in office.

7. It's possible Kerry could be slightly overshadowed
by a man who interrupted his own convalescence from major *heart surgery* to get out and campaign because he knows how important the work is, but does that really count against Kerry, or does it simply emphasize how important all of this really is?

9. Calm down, the anchor is right.
The story is Clinton. He's just had major surgery and now he's out campaigning. That will be a huge story. The icing on the cake is that he is campaigning for Kerry, which will also get ample coverage.

It in no way diminishes Kerry.

11. It will make for a beautiful picture...
Clinton the recovering lion and Kerry the very very tall very very presidential candidate. They compliment each other. It's going to be great.
