1. Better than the other photo.
The one the NRA is using in its ads. Kerry um, took his eye off the ball that time. Bad idea.

7. My Dad would have knocked my head if it was not broke open, and pointed at
the ground!

But the guys with him head Ducks unlimited and some other hunting group - so are there new suggestions on safety that I do not know about?

9. The others are OK, if you pay attention, don't fall over, etc.
But Kerry's technique is the most accident-proof, as far as I'm concerned.

3. Good point! You can bet if he'd been carrying it like the guy beside him
the NRA & the Pubs would have made a BIG DEAL out of it!

4. Agreed. In every photo, he carries it correctly
I am convinced, given a gun, * would blow off his foot or some other non-essential body part.

5. I agree
His is the only rifle being carried in the correct manner . If he fell over , he wouldn't accidentally shoot anyone .

If so, I'd be pretty sure they know how to handle firearms.

12. I remember the only time I watched shrub use a shotgun
They showed him dressed in camo looking completely clueless. When he shot I sware he all but shit himself and actually looked a lil frightened but tried to laugh it off nervously. If someone could hunt down that clip it will be a refreshing laugh to everyone here.

13. I think it was in F/911
Fired a shot, completely missed, turned around and prompted people to say "nice shot" and they complied

14. Thanks for refreshing my memory
We should try to get that clip out to everyone. As someone who has used guns my whole life that clip cracked me up, it was priceless. This is supposed to be the tough talking Marlborough man and he can't even ride a horse and is clueless and shit scared of a weapon.

Pathetic to max!

20. Bush+Texas Gov Race+Shotgun
I barely remember a funny story from the Texas Governor's race with bush and Ann Richards. (Anyone with a better memory please correct me).

Bush did a dove hunting photo-op one day during that campaign and got caught in an embarrassing situation. He shot what he thought was a dove and upon retrieving it, noticed that it actually wasn't a dove (pigeon I think). It was pretty funny for a couple of days. What was really funny is that Ann did a little hunting herself and really had fun with this in the press for a few days.

(I still can't believe she lost that election)
