another lopsided Hardball panel
Ed Rollins and Ron Silver on the panel, "balanced" by Reagan... That's not even counting Mrs. Greenspan.

2. what is up with ron silver suddenly appearing on msnbc? is this his
new job since according to him, he cant get work in hollywood because he supports bush

uh, mr silver, your choice of acting in that cancelled fox series "skin" may not have helped you in the matter but lets not address that

he was a pretty good actor, but now he just seems bitter

7. I always got the sense his acting skill as a dirty murderous sleaze
---his specialty ---- was based too much on his personal dispositions.

His neocon support seems part in parcel with this.

4. And this would be news?
Of course it's a lopsided panel-it's always lopsided. Tweety makes sure he whores 100% for BushCo.

The only person I watch on MSGOP is Keith Olbermann.

5. this problem will never end until we break up Big Media
It's sickening how they can do this and have no shame about it, just like Sinclair or Fox or Gallup or countless other openly biased media corps.

This is not a balanced panel:

Tweety: center right
Rollins: right
Silver: center right
Mitchell-Greenspan: center right
Reagan: left

We desperately need to break up and regulate Big Media. Then and only then will this despicable charade come to an end.

6. I'm getting sick of Matthews
Edited on Wed Oct-20-04 06:23 PM by RunningFromCongress
getting scared by his own panel into hiding from his liberalness...for a guy who passes himself off as a tough guy who doesn't take shit, he sure cowards from his fellow MSNBC employees (Buchanan, Scarborough). This whole "only 36% of Kerry voters are for Kerry" argument is such BS, I'd like to see what the poll numbers were for Clinton in '92. People vote OUT the incumbent.

EDIT:
I mean IMO Matthews is very left, when he's not on TV. Russert (who comes from my hometown) is also very left. Why these guys aren't allowed or aren't brave enough to speak their own minds is just sad. Why isn't there a "lefty" show with a host who has a left editorial, they give one to Scarborough. I hope they give Reagan his own show.

Edit 2:

This shuster guy is a lefty for sure.

8. Ron Silver.....
says that everything changed since Bush ignored terrorist warnings and did not take the threat seriously that led to 911 and that is why he is voting for Bush? Well, he did not say all of that....just that everything changed since 911 and that is why we must vote for fuckface.
