The polls are afraid of obsolesence.
The 2002 election results threw egg on the faces of many pollsters. Zogby included. No one saw the Republicans with such electoral strength. Some projections were almost 16 points outside of the results.

So is it any wonder that the polls are just trying to "break-even" at this point? Margins of error are now being figured into election projections with the breakdown of how the pollsters arrive at their figures. Suffice to say, this is confusing as it is potentially misleading about the true sentiment of our nation's voters.

If anything, this election will be a petri dish for polling technique. It certainly will determine who either folds or stays in the game.

1. VOLS
The only polls that ever had any accurate significance were the voter exit polls.

After 2001 however they have been officially abolished.

( they proved to show the actual varience between voters and the electronicly "enhanced" outcome.)
