I want a "golden nugget" of a Repub. defection. Not a Barr-dis-endorse.

Are there no good men? This is the most unforgivable administration in history. I am taking down names.

3. Yes I love Wes Clark BUT
He was never a Republican. He was a Registered Independent. He voted for some Republican Presidents in the past, but he voted for Clinton twice and for Gore. Wes Clark is a true Godsend to the Democratic Party, but he is not a Republican defector.

2. No, unfortunately, there aren't any left.
in the Republican Party. All the gold nuggets are in our party.

Sen. John McCain had his chance, but now he is disliked by both sides. He might as well jump all the way over here. We'd accept him, but the right wing never will.

Paul O'Neill and Richard Clarke proved they are Republicans with a conscience--a very rare thing these days.

Sen. Jim Jeffers is a golden nugget and a hero, IMO. He saved us a lot of grief in the early days of Bush. God bless this man forever.

5. Lincoln Chafee is about as close as it has come
Sitting Republican Senator who says he will write in another Republican rather than vote for Bush.
