2. Go, Al, Go !!

"I think it is no longer possible to avoid the conclusion that
what the country is dealing with in the Bush (Administration)
-- is really the nub of the problem -- the common source for
most of the false impressions that have been frustrating the
normal and healthy workings of our democracy."

"George W. Bush promised us a foreign policy with
humility. Instead, he has brought us humiliation in the
eyes of the world."

"We desperately need a national security team with at least
minimal competence because the current team is making
things worse with each passing day. They are endangering
the lives of our soldiers, and sharply increasing the danger
faced by American citizens everywhere in the world, including
here at home. They are enraging hundreds of millions of people
and embittering an entire generation of anti-Americans whose
rage is already near the boiling point."

"(GWBush) owes an apology to the U.S. Army for cavalierly
sending them into harm's way while ignoring the best advice
of their commanders."

-- Al Gore, May 26, 2004 at New York University.
