Do you think we'll know the winner on Nov. 3?
Or will there be thousands of "DEJA VU" headlines on every newspaper in the country? It's obviously gonna be a squeaker, but do you think it'll be as close as last time?

1. I think
This is going to be the nastiest, messiest Post-Election we've ever seen.

2. You'll have legal challenges in at least three states
Nevada, Ohio and Florida.

Possibly Colorado as well depending on that electoral vote measure.

3. If it's close, it will make 2000 look like a civilized affair.
There will be lawsuits and recall demands in every state that wasn't overwhelming Bush or Kerry. Just about the only way we can avoid that ugly fate is for Kerry to win in a considerable landslide.

I wonder, though, if the American people will tolerate a President who had to file suit to gain the office TWICE. Maybe, just MAYBE, people will start to suspect there's something seriously wrong.

5. Oh, Yes!
If we all do our GOTV jobs on November 2, Kerry will win with 54 percent of the popular vote and 311 electoral votes.

The outcome, in this case, will not be in doubt.

But it is all up to us to 'get out the vote' for Kerry-Edwards.

7. Not a chance.
There will be all kinds of screwups: provisional ballots challenged, voter intimidation, some electronic equivalent of hanging chads, malfunctioning machines....
not to mention outright cheating.

that we will know.
