Let's call a spade a spade - America is now a fascist nation. The evidence is everywhere...

Both the son and the grandson of a man who made millions doing business with Hitler's regime until he was shut down months after Pearl Harbor, have become President.

Every major network, CNN, FOX, etc., except CBS, has embraced the dark side. CBS itself teeters on the edge, as evidenced by its recent decision to not air a story critical of the fascists.

Mysterious outages occur when a station dares to air comething really inflammatory towards the fascist regime in power.

FCC regulations no longer mean a thing, as evidence by today's announcement that the Sinclair Group will not be stopped.

Mysterious organizations in several states rip up Democratic voter registration forms and no legal action has been taken.

Endless investigations without merit, and attempts to destroy reputations, take place against outsiders who obtain positions of power - like against Clinton. And fear is constantly used to keep the populace in line.

An illegal war, born from a mountain of lies, that has already harmed or killed over 10,000 our troops, all for the sake of oil. Yes, oil. Meanwhile, the man that ordered the deaths of over 3000 of our citizens remains free.

Fascism is basically defined as a system where corporations serve the state, and two classes of people exist - citizens who are members of the party, and everyone else. Can anyone doubt that corporations serve the Bush agenda these days? Can anyone deny that the middle class is being squeezed out of existence by policies that favor the rich, at the expense of everyone else?

This November, machines are really gonna cheat, and hundreds of thousands of voters will be denied their right to vote.

We must not lose. We must not lose. If we cannot take back our country this time, I do not believe we will ever take it back.

even though I agree with it. At least that the 'republicans' holding office are fascists. John McCain is the last famous republican and he must feel like the unwanted child.
I think there are still real republicans that haven't fiqured it out yet, like the scene in Birdcage where the senator is just figureing out that the "mrs." is a "mr.". Some are defending their family right or wrong.

it seems that people have to have their noses rubbed in it before they can see it for what it is.

When ever I can fit it in to the conversation I point out the republicans resemblance to fascists. It is often met with a awkward silence but with subtle nods.

You might also get asked why you don't care about the souls and families of the 3,000 dead from 9-11.

It's a fucking outrage that faced with the facts (and they are facts) you posted, people still think America is headed in the right direction. How is that possible? Americans have become complacent and have the lowest expectations from our leaders and role models.

I'll never understand it and am worried we'll have another four years of bush in office - and I don't think we'll recover from it.
