51 Million watched the final debate . . . .

Despite competition from two baseball playoff games, the third and final presidential debate, held Wednesday night in Tempe, drew more than 51 million viewers - more than watched any of the presidential debates in 2000 or 1996.


It's amazing how many people have watched the three Presidental debates and the VP debates. Considering it's widely considered Kerry won all three of the debates, you have to wonder why the polls haven't shifted more than they already have. Hopefully we'll see the trend of Kerry gaining on Bush continue.

There are a lot of people who own televisions but do not scour the "internets" as thoroughly as those of us here do. They're still polling the same people from the last election.

Those phone polls take a while to do, and it's only been two days.
