Since OSX is Unix-based, I chose the Unix File System (UFS) as the format for my system drive, and the latest version of Windows Media Player won't install or run on that, and I'm not reformatting my drive.

I had to open my Windows Media Player , under file to Open URL and cut and paste the webpage on Wonk's site, it then opened and I could watch it. For some reason, my player wouldn't open when I would access the site and would just get a page full of codec. Hope this helps.

It is so time consuming and fruitless to combat a bold lie when the weight of evidence should be the other way around. Also when credibility is at stake it is hard to be the first one hit and then try to expose the truth behind the liar. It takes time for this stuff to backfire and the media has granted Bush a lot of time and most with the intention of burying the issue forever should he win.

I think Kerry's electoral strength made them shoot their bundle too soon. The only thing close about this election is the Bush team being exposed for premature cheating, lying and stealing with the media dragging its heels through incompetence or collaboration. You know it is impossible for OUR side ever to get away with a smidgen of this filth, something we gripe about but keeps the party on the whole absolutely honest.

Did Koppel's Nightline, trashed by Sinclair with impunity, finally develop this in response to the hypocritical showing of the new video next week? Bush and his cronies have had to push too hard, but they dared not only because they had too, but because they felt they could.

in an earlier war. Some of you may have heard of it: WWII. He just turned 80 this year.

Listening to the stories that the SBV told about this incident, I asked him about his experience, in order to gain some evidence to judge the conflicting claims. Understandably, he was taciturn about the event, but added that the memories of any 2 people involved were bound to be different. His example, from his own experience, was that even though he was in the middle of the action, it wasn't until after the war that he learned 2 more men had been killed -- one was an officer.

He stills has the medal & the written citation, BTW, even after almost 40 years & having moved several times. I was always suspicious that a proud vet would claim he had "lost" his written citation.

Perhaps some of the SBV in the battle honestly remember the battle differently than the official account. I feel my father, out of respect & experience, didn't want to get into that catfight over who remembered the action correctly. But I also feel he was saddened by the whole controversy.

Incidentally, I have this impression that during the 1950's & 1960's (when I was a child) it was career suicide for any politician to openly question the medals a veteran had received. And that if someone did that in a group, a non-partisan team might beat the crap out of the loudmouth.
