It was brilliant. In his closing remarks, he even mentioned Kerry supporters:

"imagine the outrage Kerry supporters would have felt if we hadn't aired this story"

They interviewed Vietnamese villagers who were there when he won his Silver Star (that incident) and they TOTALLY backed up Kerry's story and the Navy's story and totally slammed O'Neill's version!

BOO-YA!

Wow, I just finished watching it and O'Neill really cleaned Koppel's clock!!!

O'neil did a fantastic job of stopping the propaganda reterect of Koppel...Koppel would not let him talk about anything than one incident and O'Neil by far won this round. Even quoting from the swiftboat book and Kerrys own account in VN...Koppel tried to show a very slanted show and actually I felt uncomfortable watching O'Neil being sabotaged by Koppel...what a shame and God Bless the Swifties!! I was proud of O'Neil tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally, journalism that investigates the facts rather than mindlessly repeating empty assertions. I won't hold my breath for a complete rollback of the degenerate condition of the American press, but tonight was a breath of fresh air. I had banned ABC News as a source after Peter Jennings cheap shot on Wes Clark in the Democratic primaries, but now I may break my boycott.

Maybe next week we can see a piece on how Chuck Colson hired this same O'Neill guy to be his anti-Kerry hit-man thirty years ago.
