2. Never underestimate your opposition.

Because you disagree with someone, does NOT make them mentally deficient. Nobody that can fly and F-102 is stupid. And he does have a Harvard MBA. They don't give those things away. Harvard is used to influential people, so for him to say, "Grandpa's a senator", would have only produced a yawn at Harvard.

Even though I have a Master's I once decided that I wanted some "time off" and wanted to see the country - all of it. So I quit and became a truck driver for about four years. I also became very good at poker. So I would stop at poker rooms, and play for a few hours. I always made sure to wear my company shirt and cap, and otherwise look the part of a trucker - and talked it too. Before 5 minutes had passed at the game, I made sure that everyone there knew I drove trucks. You can guess what kind of estimate they made of my poker abilities. Hours later, most of them would think I was just getting lucky. Get the point? If you think W is stupid - you are being hustled.

3. Well a good friend of mine is

excellent at cards, he played with his compulsive gambler mother for years. He is my friend and I like him a lot but the guy is dumb as a rock, he never made it out of the eighth grade. I guess because he can whip me in cards that makes him a masters candidate. I am not buying this logic.

IT wasn't my bumpersticker. But I still agree with the sentiment.

Bush aint that bright. Got into Harvard? HAH. Not on his intelligence.

Flying? That is still in question, I believe.

He's wiley, he's mean, he's not literally an idiot, but HE IS personally an embarrasment to me as an American. I want to live in a country that values education and values and those that are truly intelligent. The fact that real education isn't valued by many citizens is a comment on their intelligence in my opinion.

He has hustled many people, but it's not because they are using what's upstairs in any major way.

I don't think he's truly stupid, but I KNOW he's not that smart. He's a loser and frankly, losers are not that smart. The only thing he's ever done right was be born in the right family. Period. Everything else he has "accomplished" is very bitter debate in my mind.

5. It's the age-old question, isn't it?

Crazy, stupid, or just plain evil? Or some combination thereof?

He obviously has some kind of intelligence. I just don't see him actually using it for anything these days. Also, the pilot and MBA thing? Prooves he was at least passably intelligently in 1972; God only knows what twenty years of cocaine and booze afterwards did to his brain.
