I'm bouncing off the walls, just got back for seeing
our next Vice President of the U.S.A., John Edwards.
He was wonderful!

He spoke for about a half an hour and then took questions.
He spoke mainly about health care with a few great jabs at bush.

My favorite was when he said that he felt many people missed the most important question bush asked in the all debate. In the 2nd debate bush asked if his time was up.
I say YES!

Please forgive this dirty, not so old, lady, but Mr. Edwards is very cute, YUM!

Today was just what I needed to get all psyched up for the next 19 days.

I went with my husband and some friend including a guy that recently got back from Iraq. He is a huge Kerry/Edwards supporter and was interviewed by a local paper.

Forgive me if I'm babbling a bit, but I'm so excited and energized.

3. Did he have his kids there?
I can see him being VP for 8 years and then President in his own right for 8 more years. We would be able to see Jack and Emma Claire grow up in the White House. Those two kids are adorable! :-)

5. Nope, the kids & wife were else where today.
We did have a nice chat with one of the Secret Service agents assigned to Edwards. He was very kind & funny.

4. Edwards came to Louisville for a fund raiser a few weeks ago
and I went to the rally at the airport hanger when he arrived. I was within 3 feet of him; he literally looks like a kid. He does not look a day over 30. He was also quite impressive. In today's Courier Journal two prominent Republicans wrote op-eds telling why they are voting for Kerry. One the son of Thruston Morton who was our Senator for many years; the other was Ann Morton who had a husband who had been many time rep from Maryland, etc.etc. Can't hurt.

6. Thanks for the report! And no need to apologize for babbling
I love your excitement! I am so mad I missed him when he was here the other day.

9. I just lucked into it.
I had no idea when I got up this morning & went to work.
A coworker had extra tickets and my hubby & I were both able to take the afternoon off work.
Drove an hour each way, but much more that worth it.
