Thank you for your reply. However, I do feel that your response, while appreciated, is inadequate considering the situation.
While it may be true that you do not place national buys directly with Sinclair, the fact that they own stations which are affiliated with several networks means that network buys will of necessity appear on their stations. You need to take steps to insure that revenue from these buys does not flow to Sinclair.
Also, I believe that they will not be running ads at all during the program in question, so pulling advertising on that specific show it is not really a decision available to you.
The best response would be to issue a public statement regarding your corporate view in opposition to the improper airing of this material, and also on the related issue of media consolidation.
