CNN Pundit: Kerry in "unenviable position" of having momentum
Most of us, of course, would rather have the momentum with three weeks to go than not have it. But this brilliant pundit obviously knows better. You see, Kerry's got a problem. A big problem. Now that he HAS the momentum, he has to figure out a way to KEEP the moment. Of course, some people would say that keeping the momentum is less of a problem than regaining the momentum, which is obviously what Bush needs to do.

8. It was one of the three journalists -- maybe Ron Brownstein
I was listening to the program on satellite radio, so I don't know which of the three journalists on the panel it was.

17. It is bad...for CNN
The last thing they need is for Kerry to start pulling away, thus making the ratings for their last two weeks of election coverage suck, not to mention having people go to bed by 10 PM on election night. God forbid this should happen.

Now they're going to have to start handicapping Kerry. You just wait.

22. Momentum
Just keep working like it's a close race and keep telling the the undecided voters "Kerry in a LANDSLIDE". Positive spin to gather the 'followers' and 'lemmings' and hard GET OUT THE VOTE work.

Her first observation was pretty enthusiastic for Bush. Then she heard their poll come in, and Bill Schneider call it "A big win for Kerry". And then her face went dark and droopy and she said one of the variations of their "this isn't an election for the debater-in-chief" line.

15. Didn't her face say it all?

I pointed it out to my wife, who still has trouble believing me when I tell her the news whores are all working for Shrub (She wants to think the best of people.) She finally was convinced by that barely concealed glum glower on the fat lady's mug. Unfreakingbelievable.

And did anyone notice the uberwhore Andrea Mitchell's comments immediately after the debate? When given her first chance to respond by pigboy Matthews, she carped about Kerry's disputing the need for social security privatization. What she didn't bother to mention is that it was in that answer where he criticized her fucking husband, Alan Greenspan, after showing him great respect for his handling of the Fed.

Was there ever a more clear example of personal bias clouding judgment? She too had a funny look -- the angry, pinched, "can't believe this is happening to my money tree" look.

Why would she marry that old, crusty fart? It's got to be money, or a shared love of licking Bush's ass.

Mrs. Greenspan criticizing Kerry for being against privatization of Social Security. She warned several times that Kerry would rue the day he made those remarks. Inside info, apparently!

20. No, but is an election for who's best to run the country.
Being a big doofus doesn't cut it in my book. Bush can't explain himself, so he goes after Kerry. Kerry smiles, and gives us The Real Deal (tm). Bush lobs a Bushgrenade (without cooking it off first). Kerry smiles, picks up the Bushgrenade, and throws it back where it blows up in Bush's stupid face. The doofus doesn't have a damn thing positive to run on and he knows it.

14. Same old same old coming from the "liberal press" :-)
Did any of these stooges say Bush was in an unenviable position when he was ahead after the convention? Nope, they were saying Kerry was in an unenviable position! Want a job that you can get with limited knowledge? You can: 1) flip hamburgers, or, if this is too mentally challenging....2) be a pundit for CNN

This is a sprint now. DO we have it in us? Does Kerry have it in him? OHHH YAAHHHH

27. THE MEDIA IS A FUCKING DISGRACE
Edited on Thu Oct-14-04 03:35 PM by Cats Against Frist
If Bush had won all three debates, there would practically be fireworks shooting out of these pundits' asses. And we're getting Lynn Cheney's fake reprimand of John Kerry? Tweety calls the VP debate, in an alternate universe, for Dick Cheney. Kerry has a "problem" because he has momentum? The "President" lies about saying that he doesn't care where the terrorist who masterminded the most deadly attack on American soil -- and gets called on it -- and I have to listen to Dick "If you vote Kerry, the terra will strike you" Cheney talk about what KERRY would say to get elected????

Fuck even the candidates -- what about the people. Our lives -- between the media and the politicians, they don't give a flying fuck about giving us the truth, or parsing any issues. It's disgusting. It's fucking disgusting.

I say when the "revolution" comes, pundits go first, so they can get closest to the fire in hell.
