Folks forget "close Kerry victory." We're looking at a LANDSLIDE
Kerry is going to win all Gore's states including Florida, and several surprise states AWOL took in 2000

3. Call me cynical
but no way will Kerry win Florida. Jeb will use every dirty trick he has, call in every favor he can to assure his brother Florida. Might as well pull the voting machines out of the walls in Florida.

Kerry will have to win without Florida. And I think he will.

6. Maybe Not.

Its impossible for them to steal an election that isn't extremely close, without it being transparent even to the jackoffs in the media. If the gap is wide enough (2-3 percentage points) then even with dissapearing ballots, and voting machines being tampered with, Kerry would still have enough votes to win.

But don't get complacent. This is just what the Chimp's folks want us to believe. We still have 3 weeks to go.

5. I'd be so embarrased as an American if Kerry doesn't win "big". A "global"
test for American voters would be to reject the idiot in office.

8. So would I.
Somehow, it feels like getting a D- and scraping through. Better than an F (-ing loser), but still not enough to restore people's rightfully wavering faith in the intelligence of the average American.

9. I've got a theory
I've been thinking about this, and I honestly believe that in EVERY race that the polls show to be within the margin of error (either way) when talking about "likely" voters, we're going to win. Simply put, this race isn't going to hinge on "likely" voters by the pollster's definition. This race is going to turn on people like, I'm ashamed to admit, myself. Yes, I've voted before, but I've NEVER been as involved as I have been this election. If this race took me - a casual political "fan" that didn't really get involved - and made me get off my lazy butt and participate, what do you think it's doing to college kids (and their parents) that are seeing their tuition rise on a regular basis ? To inner city residents that thought, until recently, that they didn't matter to the process. To all those people that were disenfranchised during the stolen election of 2000 ?

This isn't even going to be CLOSE. In fact, I honestly believe that Kerry will not only win the electoral and popular vote, but that he'll carry a majority of states as well.

But keep working like we're ten points down...The Sinclair BS just shows that the RNC and Bushnuts will not go down without pulling every dirty trick they can manage. We've got to stay ahead of the game and WORK.

16. I agree
I look at every state where Bush* is under 50% and Kerry's number is within the margin of error as likely Kerry. But yes, still working hard. Just delivered a copy of F-9/11 to an undecided, newly registered neighbor.

18. Exactly
I agree with your theory. It's easier to get the protest vote against something bad for them. Statistically, too, it's impossible that just the likely voters will vote. There has to be a percentage of unlikely voters.

If NC or VA + PA go to Kerry early on election night, I'm popping a cork.

12. I'm Thinking the Turnout Is Going to Be Overwhelming!

Historians are going to look back on this election and note that the people rose up to take back their government in exactly the way the Founding Fathers envisioned it would happen, when a tyrant illegally seized power.

This knucklehead is going down in flames, BIG TIME!!!!

14. Keep pushing like we're losing, though
I am with those who think the only way weewee can win is if he steals the thing, AGAIN. But we have to keep the pressure on. Do it in small ways as well as large. Every damn time you hear bullshit on TV, send them an email and COMPLAIN. Be brief, polite, but state your case. Call them on EVERY innacuracy. Same with print media--send a note to the writer of the article if they spout conventional GOP horseshit. By the same token, if someone says something that you agree with, write them a note of praise, telling them how they tap into the way most people feel.

You'd be surprised how much this influences the coverage...it is all about who watches, who reads.

Everyone panders, we just want to make sure they pander to us. And we can make it happen!
