*: "When I asked Laura to marry me, she said, 'ok, so long as I don't have
to ever give a speech'"

WHAT? Seriously, I KNOW she never said that.

That poor woman must die inside every time he mentions her.

2. but he doesn't realize - HE LIED TO HIS WIFE right off the bat.
Her one condition, and it doesn't mean a thing.

At least, that's the case if the story's even true. Which it isn't. But he still doesn't realize that he's admitting to, bragging about LIEING TO HIS WIFE.

8. Yep - broken promise - his word means nothing. n/t
That's what I thought too, long ago, when he mentioned this - also that what she wanted really wasn't important to him - he overlooked her request as unimportant - so mo much for women's rights.

3. It's a BS story. I am SURE she never said that.
Why would she have to?

When they were married, the likelihood of him EVER pursuing political office was dim.

4. Hey, at least he admits that Pickles speaks English better than him
Of course who doesn't?

However, did anyone catch the fact that Junior said he met Pickles at the home of someone named "O'Neill"??

As in possible relative John Ellis O' Neill, Swift Boat Liar?

Anybody look into this?

7. He'd already washed out of everything else, so he figured politics
was an excellent way to avoid HARD WORK.

9. Well technically he kept his promise
She doesn't give speeches really. They just flip a switch and Laura the Bushbot spews out a prerecorded message.
