He's a duck out of water. He knows it and doesn't like any of it, except the power of the office.

1. when he said 'culture of life' comment on the abortion question I got very
upset.

He's responsible for the most death and destruction of anyone in recent human history. He does not generate and nurture 'life.'

And we probably don't have stats yet but I bet the abortion rate in country and worldwide has skyrocketed under his taint. Can't even call it 'watch.'

3. He uses the phrase "culture of life" because Karl told him it

resonates with Catholics. Of course, Catholics who have been paying attention to Bush* know about his commitment to capital punishment and war, neither of which are part of the "culture of life" supported by Pope John Paul II. So he doesn't like abortion? That's 1 out of 3, not much of a record!

5. It's that hierarchy of life and death issues, isn't it? He's not even
1 for 3 since he didn't define a stance on Roe v Wade tonight other than to babble about a litmus test.

Catholics don't baptize embryos. At least not yet. Nor do they have funerals for miscarried fetuses.

7. Couldn't you just hear in the 2nd debate when he replied re Stem Cell
research . . . He was talking the pro-Life ethic and I could very clearly hear how much he knew what he was saying is a lie, how absurd it sounds in the context of his war, but, of course, he said it anyway. Like we wouldn't notice.

10. Respecting life....
I was waiting for him to finish his bit about respecting the culture of life with, "unless its the life of Karla Faye Tucker, then I like to make jokes."

Good thing he was indoors and safe from lightening.

2. Sometimes I feel sorry for Shrub.
It could be he is so damned stupid he doesn't even know what he is really doing....just walking through this world with a script. I sometimes wonder if he really wants four more years or if he isn't being held hostage by the neocons?

6. I will feel sorry for him after he feels the icy sting of he needle that
ends is miserable life after he is found guilty of crimes against humanity and sentenced to death. I will pray for his dammed soul after he is removed from power and can no longer poison our political and environmental lives.

11. I feel sorry for the poor b@stard too, I don't think he realizes how..
dangerous and incompetant he is.

Seeing him up on the stage pounding the podium and explicitely asking for our vote was embarrassing to watch.
