HAT TRICK!

Thanks to DUer larissa for this incredibly good "word of the day" summation of the debates won by our hockey playing next President of the United States.

She (assuming on my part) added:
BTW.. Sports Illustrated once asked Senator Kerry to name a prerequisite that a candidate should have before running for President. Kerry laughed and said "they should have scored at least one hat trick in their life"

He said that for two reasons.. Because he's proud of the hat trick he scored in college, and because hey... he was being interviewed by Sports Illustrated!

3. Hat Trick is the hockey term for scoring three goals in a game, and
is more broadly used for scoring three of something (like debate wins)

Kerry is very proud of his hockey background.
