"The President and the Republicans in Congress..."
Kerry said that a number of times tonight. I have been waiting for the Kerry campaign to start to link the failures of the Bush administration with the Republicans in Congress, and he did that forcefully tonight. I think we may see this race become a referendum not just on Bush but Republican mismanagement of domestic issues.

That is good. We need the House and Senate.

Good job, Mr Kerry!

1. He also mentioned Ton Dashle and the hug
The Tom Daschle hugging Bush ad has been very contraversial in Daschle's reelection campaign this year. Kerry made sure to help out his fellow Senator.

Kerry is already playing this like he is President. Not only that, but he was playing like he was already a popular President.

Tonight was Kerry's night. He truly is a fantastic closer.
