Attention, all: Post-debate spin will be the most important factor

In the first debate, 66.5 million people watched what happened. No amount of spin could dismantle the truth.

In the second debate, the VP debate, there were far fewer viewers, so the spinners had more room to call it a 'tie.'

The same phenomenon happened with the third debate.

Tonight's debate will also likely have a lot fewer viewers. That means the after-spin will actually be more important than the debate itself, unless it is another massacre like the first one.
