Just saw powerful anti-Bush TV ad
It is from Operation Truth (I'm not familiar with them)

It has an Iraq War vet saying, "They told us there were WMDs, but then there weren't any" and he goes through a list of things they were told that turned out to be lies.

And at the end he pulls off a prosthetic to show his hand is gone.

Saw it on CNN. Maybe this ad is running elsewhere, but I live in a red state and we only get campaign ads via cable.

the treadmill said "My God, we have to get that Bush* out of there"

6. Ad was aired yesterday on Crossfire. Robert Acosta may be on Wolf at 5PM
according to their blog.

Am going to donate to help them get their message out, and I encourage everyone who can afford it, to do so.

8. Everyone consider donating to this group - that ad is hard hitting!
The American people are being attacked by Bush with ads critical of Kerry's activities from 30 years ago - this ad tells the truth about Bush's crimes in the last three years.

I'm sure they can use some more money to run the ad before the election!

9. Tears
I just sent that powerful piece to others. I hate to call it an "ad." Call it the truth. Doesn't it feel like these wonderful, courageous men and women have fallen into some black hole? We never see the funerals, we never see the families, and we never, never see the lost limbs, eyes, faces...

And, what, might I ask was W referring to when he said the war was "hard work... seen it on t.v."??? Where on t.v.? No bodies on t.v. here. No amputees on t.v. here. Hard work? Rehab is hard work, W. Rehab. Oh, you wouldn't know about that, huh.

Please... he has to lose.

And veterans from all wars need to march in Kerry's inaugural parade.

12. You're right! It's a Truth that's out there
on the airwaves..I was just telling the nurse downstairs about Robert Acosta who couldn't tell anyone why he had lost his arm.

Welcome to DU, Dr Zee

11. Such a young kid too.
And he is one of the "lucky" ones because he is alive. How many other young kids have died and been maimed because of this insane war? I just want to scream when I hear freepers gush over how wonderful and decent * is!

13. I just saw it in Iowa on CNN. It was very powerful. I was wondering why
we didn't have any ads like this out there yet. I'm very glad they got that on the air.

15. Powerful doesn't even begin to describe this ad.
Amazing. My heart breaks for all of the injured vets that know they lost limbs in vain. :(
