And those who are going to vote for him will do so regardless of whether he's "dropped out" or not.

The Nader damage is already done.

I'm secretly hoping that all those who POLL in favor of Nader will change their minds in the voting booth. I personally think that's why Gore won the popular vote in 2000 (bcz he was trailing in the polls, very slightly but consistently, up to election day).

2. Clever and sane
but Nader looks too far gone in political anger for any pretense. he is noted for uncompromising honesty or pigheadedness if you will. He has flamed way beyond such a judicious strategy.

Won't endorse Kerry. Won't drop out. Won't see what he has become in the mirror. Another one who is fighting the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I would have entertained the idea had Nader not been so much at war with the Dems. Too late now.

6. Even if he wanted to, Nader does not have the cojones to do that.
I know because Nader belongs to the same fitness club that I do and I have seen his cojones.
