I sure like having Joe Lockhart on the job.
Every time he's on I feel reassured. The guy's the consummate pro.
To make a football analogy, he's one of those coaches you wouldn't mind giving up a first-round draft pick to get.
Just sayin', is all...
:D
Mornin', DU! JK's kickin' ass tonight. :hi:

1. Morning,prole!
JK"s most definietely kicking ass tonight. Is Lockhart on now, or what's going on? My corporate media boycott leaves me in the dark sometimes, but my blood pressure is WAAY lower.

4. Yeah, he was just on CNN with Hemmer...
Talking about prospects for the debate tonight. Nobody cuts Lockhart off mid-sentence like they do the others. He keeps the message tight and right, and commands respect.
He nailed shrub on lying about JK and taxes, and segued smoothly into a blistering attack on the chimp's performance...after he'd finished he said something like "...and given that, George Bush isn't in any positiion to be lecturing anyone on fiscal responsibility."
You have to see it, though, because that "You've gotta be kidding me!" face he makes really seals the deal. :D

5. Thanks !
Great update, and very descriptive. Although I'm boycotting CNN now, I was once addicted to it, so I'm very familiar with Lockhart. I loved him during the Clinton administration too! Go, Joe!

2. the campaign turned around when Lockhart and
the other Clinton people came aboard. Lockhart is my kind of Dem politico - he's tough, smart and has what it takes to beat the GOP slime machine - he almost seems to like it the nastier and harder they hit him. The same can't be said about timid, proper establishmentarians like Cahill and Shrum.

3. Joe RRRAAAAAWWWWWKKKSSSSS
I will be up at 2:45AM to watch it live here in Sicily. I've watched all three debates live then watched them again on replay at 10AM. The second viewing always cheers me up, I am a bit of a nervous Nelly when they are airing live. Not tonight....Kerry is going to lay the smack down on FlubbaDubya but good.

6. It'll be worth staying up for, Mary...
Tonight could be the night that shrub's barely-controlled lava dome goes off, leaving nothing but a smoking hole in its place.
(I couldn't help it...I just saw a Mt. St. Helens clip right before a replay of dubya "charging" Charlie Gibson in Round 2 on the news!}
