the President has a lot of direct control over those agencies. Also, I don't think the FTC has anything to say on the subject.
In fact, I'm pretty sure it doesn't.

President can't do too much. There are several far right-wing media outlets, but the government is limited in what it can do.

7. It wouldn't hurt to compare Sinclair with ENRON

and how their schemes were/are dependent upon the Bush* regime to relax regulations for their success. There isn't one deregulation law that has helped the common man, not one. Sinclair and ENRON need to be used as examples for why deregulation has been bad for America. Kerry needs to demonstrate that certain corporations have been abusing and jigging the system and it needs to stop. Period.
