Talks great, laughs great, everything's just freaking great about him. The ultimate politician.

And an awesome compliment to Kerry, too.

8. Whoooaaaaa! Edwards nails * on cheerleading!
Conversation starts out about running (i.e. jogging), Jay says * runs too, and asks "who would win in a 10k race?" Edwards' college football playing gets brought up, then Edwards says something to the effect that he doesn't know if shaking "those things" (pom-poms, obviously) on the sidelines is an equivalent athletic endeavor -- ZING!

Jay's jaw literally dropped! It was hilarious!

26. Yep, and he makes me proud to be a NC native, even though it's turned red
since I lived there.

He was fantastic - star quality!!

He'll do a fantastic job of presiding over the Senate, too - especially as opposed to Cheney!

19. Great Show!
Soap is on the way and "I think it's his battery." were my two favorite comments. Okay, off to bed. Must be up bright and early to make the donuts so I can sneak out of work early to catch the last debate.

20. What a great guy.
John Edwards is a plus plus plus.
He didn't let Leno sway him into talking about b.s. (especially the daughters thing, what was that about??), and he's got a GREAT SMILE.

Which helped a lot when he said "I think it's his battery" and the pom pom exchange.

He's my guy.

28. Leno' is a perv
I remember watching him being interviewed by Howard Stern and when Stern pressured him on certain sex issues Leno coward down and was truly embarrassed and at a loss for words. He had a look though of the cat that ate the canary.

25. everytime I see Edwards, in any venue, he is so uplifting. He really
brings his persona to their phrase, hope is on the way. Even if we've had a heavy day full of nasty bush lies and scare tactics, if you see or hear Edwards, you'll feel so much better and full of hope.

33. Happy Days are Here Again -- That was FDR's '32 campaign theme song.
When America was in the depths of Depression and fascists at home and abroad were trying to destroy democracy -- ie, in the darkest days of American history -- FDR rain a campaign and won with the theme that Hope was On The Way. It wasn't "don't worry, be happy." It was that we can do better and we will. That's what Edwards captures.

32. Which one's Cheney?
He said when he picked his son up after the debate, he looked around and said suspiciously---"Which one's Cheney?"

Also, was Jay asking him about Cheney ogling one of his relatives?
They seemed to talk around it.
