I'm a nervous wreck, and as I write this, it's still Tuesday evening.

PLEASE, NOBODY FALL INTO COMPLACENCY!!! Not this late in the game! People are on edge like crazy out there. Even here in rawther solid California Kerry-Country, people are nervous. Worried about the other states, mainly.

And, frankly, everybody who thought bush would shoot himself in the foot last Friday was to some degree disappointed. Yes, we sneered at the job he did. It was awful. But that was seen through OUR eyes, not undecideds and certainly not bush-bots, or annoying numbers of media people. I've found that whenever I expect bush to bomb, he somehow survives fairly well. I thought Kitty Kelley might finish him off. She's completely off the radar now. I thought Kerry would close it all down and lock it up and turn out the lights last Friday. Didn't happen.

Pray. And then pray some more.

Fixate on the following mantra for which nostamj has so thoughtfully provided some cool graphics (visual aids) - "Kerry in a LANDSLIDE." Add in "MANDATE" to that. But DON'T get complacent. DON'T drop your guard or assume that Kerry's gonna clinch it in the last debate. I hope he does. But I'm still praying. There are three weeks left. A LOT can happen. Look how high bush was riding just before the first debate. Everybody thought he was the one who was gonna lock it in and finish Kerry. He was already being crowned. And then A September 30th Surprise! NOTHING is certain. And October isn't up yet.

There's a LONG way to go before we can relax. And even then...
