When you write those letters to Sinclair's advertisers...
include a "Conversion List". I saw this on another message board.
What a great idea...turns the screws a wee bit tighter.

Circuit City = Best Buy
Corona = Dos Equis
Dr Pepper/Seven Up Inc = Sprite

1. Nice idea!
Nothing would hurt more than having your business going to a competitor!

6. All the brands mentioned are national
Local advertisers like pizza chains, car dealers, furniture stores, glass repair, jewelers and a host of others are where you can reeally sting them. According to Josh Marshal, 60% of the ad dollar comes from local, small businesses. Contact those businesses directly and share your concerns. They are the key pressure point. Talk to the person who coordinates their advertising. Think globally, act locally.
