Worse GOP Senate Candidate: Coburn or Keyes?
Tom Coburn is running for the Senate from Oklahoma.

Alan Keyes is running for it from Illinois.

Both of 'em are nuttier than squirrel shit and neither needs to be in the Senate--and more 'n likely neither will be--but who do YOU think is worse?

1. Coburn ...

But I'm biased. I have personal knowledge of the kind of crap that idiot Mengele-wanna-be has done to people.

2. Coburn, because he might actually win

They're both batshit crazy idiots, but at least the people of Illinois have figured it out. And while my objections to Keyes are mostly policy-based, I also object to Coburn's creepy personal history. I'm not usually one to bring such things into the debate, but geez.

4. Coburn actually committed a crime.
Keyes is one of 100 and he didn't maim anyone.

5. Coburn
Keyes has as much chance as being elected as I do. Coburn is a serious candidate.

6. Coburn because he may win that seat. Keyes doesn't have a chance.

7. Coburn, since he appears to endorse murder
Keyes, as nutty as he is, does not seem to me to be literally dangerous.

9. Oh, boy... tough choice.
Coburn is a knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing redneck who is obsessed with rampaging Lesbians in the public schools, and Keyes is just... indescribably peculiar. They are both barking mad. I just can't decide; I'm just deeply grateful that they will both lose.

12. Speaking of spirit ...

I need to find that picture of him giving a speech in front of a statue of Stephen Douglas. That was just ... I dunno ... irony is an understatement.
