Presenile Dementia -- Ten Years Ago and Now -- Quicktime
See for yourself at -http://home.comcast.net/~blogitics/BushTenYrs4MB.mov

The big story - "a striking decline in his sentence-by-sentence speaking skills." The reason?
One doctor says "presenile dementia" a catch-all term for earlier-than-normal cognitive impairment.

This video inter-cuts footage from 10 years ago with recent footage - the difference is dramatic and disturbing.

16. Been noticing that lately too
Shrub is really laying on that fake Texan accent extra thick in the last few days. I'm sure his handlers have told him it helps him project a strong image and connects with southern voters.

Everything, I mean everything about this (mis)administration is contrived B/S. I get the sense that the BushCo feels that the election is slipping away from them.

48. Everyone, please nominate for the first page

Send it to everyone you know.

The media must see this.

Anyone in their right mind that sees this video will know for sure that Bush is seriously ill.

What makes it so sad, an I am not a Bush fan,is the way that he changed in ten short years. How many others that could speak that way ten years ago would stumble like this now? No one unless they are seriously ill.

Mostpublic speakers get better with age. He was on top of it ten years ago. His message was mean but not his smile. He had a twinkle in his eye that came from his heart. He is now a sick MEAN and OLD man. He is unwired and in meltdown.

It is so sad to see any body change that dramatically.

5. A marked decline...
In communication skills. TIAs? That would answer some questions regarding the fact that he is accident-prone. I wonder if he has any cranial magnetic imaging done.

The evidence is there to see and understand. Causative factors range from the above, to tumors, to a seizure disorder taking its toll, to CJD or early-onset Alzheimer's. Alas, whatever it is, we know that Rove will never let that cat out of the bag. Can't screw up the meal ticket.

IMPLANT IN YOUR BRAIN: 3 Supreme Court Judges

This is serious folks. Very serious.

We can call it all the fancy names we want to call it. He may have a combination of conditions.

We are not physicians. We do not diagnose.
I choose to leave all that up to the professionals.

I see our job as foot soldiers in battle.

We have a few weeks to make sure that every American knows that the President that they believe they know, is an Unknown.

This video is all I need to see.
Even if the Republicans say the Dr. in the video is the cousin of some Democrat,it doesn't matter.

Even if they say that Bush most certainly does not have presenile dementia( and I don't think they will ever speak those words.)

Even if they say that the Democrats are playing dirty tricks so close to the end of the campaign --- they are wrong. Dead wrong.

What dirty trick is it to compare a candidate in a past campaign to the current campaign? NONE! It is simply the facts. They speak for themselves.

The American people deserve to know this: Just the facts Rove, Just the facts!:kick:

I never understood how gwb could beat Ann Richards, but I have to admit that his statements during the 1994 debate were cogent and forceful. I can't get over the difference between then and now.

I've nominated this for the homepage. MKJ

15. Anybody remember when Jon Stewart did that thing
on The Daily Show, where Bush as POTUS debated himself as the governor of Texas? I noticed a lot of this shit then -- that he was more confident and smoother when he spoke (though I'll be honest -- even that sounded memorized, like he was reciting words he'd crammed in his head, not like he was extemporizing at all). Not only that, but when he was governor, as despicable as his rhetoric may have been, at least it was internally consistent despicable rhetoric. Now, he's all over the map even when the speech is written for him, and he can't even pretend to answer a question he doesn't know.

Ugly, no question. Ugly.

21. This very important post found itself buried too young :(
so I will kick-start it back to life!

Yes, the message from 1994 was disgusting and repulsive, but laid out out with so much more confidence and clarity compared to the Idiot King we confront now, in 2004.

The degradation in his affect and physical appearance over 10 years is nothing short of amazing. Especially for someone of his age. Ten years means a lot from 3 years to 13 years or even from 75 to 85. But from 40's to 50's?

The other day I was thinking about the decline we've witnessed in the past 4 years even. I'd love to see comparisons of his debate style vs. Gore and his debate style vs. Kerry. There is something dreadfully wrong with our President. I would pity him if I didn't hate him so much.

I'm no doctor, but the changes in George W. Bush over the past year must alarm us. The American people must be aware of this deterioration in their Commander In Chief. And if they still vote to keep him, then we deserve what we get.

Now that's a link with a compelling argument. The clock/timer really drives the point home. Could the man really be that exhausted?

It seems unlikely that a simple 10 years of aging could produce such a radical change (unless * was tweaking his balls off in his gubernatorial campaign).

Hmm, I'm going to private message a few people about this thread.

edit: clock/timer

I believe his lambasting style last Friday may have been a method of overcompensating for his physical and mental infirmities.

If he is forced to rely on deep, complex thought he falters and crumbles. By flailing about in anger and scattered emotion, he appears to be "on his game" when in fact, if you really listen to some of the gibberish he yelled last week, you'll see much of it is nonsensical, political idealogies aside.

The town hall format was actually favorable to Shrub for this reason, I believe. However, tomorrow night is back to the podium, he has to stand still, he has to stand straight, he can't detract attention with extreme physical and vocal mannerisms. Perhaps with any luck, we'll witness another series of meltdowns :)

The link is absolutely not working for me today.

I am thrilled beyond words that you got this clip and others saw it.

Try it again now and tell we what I am doing wrong.

I think this is absolutely the smoking gun!

To me it proves that it is far more serios than a wire.
This administration is trying to hide the fact that he is seriouslly ill.

That happened with Ronald Reagan, after the debates.

Now we have internet, 24 hour tv and this video clip is PROOF positive that he has become seriously ill.

Did any one save the video and send it to a friend? Please tell me yes!

I'm beginning to think that they are erasing it or something.

Help, we must get it to Air America.
