Why do people like Bush
who claim to be born again and to have accepted Jesus into their life, have so much fear and hatred?

1. They're anti-abortion
And like the way he talks.

They don't want to bother themselves with details and those two things are all they think they need to know.

3. Fear is part of what
draws people to that kind of Christianity. Fear of others not like them and fear of death and hell, mostly. Of course, not all people who have such fears turn to "born-again" Christianity, and most born-again Christians do not have hatred. It's my belief that Bush is much more afraid than he is hateful.

6. It seems that folks like Bush who proclaim
that they are people of faith, have very little faith at all?

He certainly don't seem to have faith in his fellow humans and he tend to think the worst of others. Everyone is out to get us. It's us against them. He's gonna hunt 'em down.

How can someone who claims that Jesus is his savior, speak with so much hatred?

5. Adolf claimed to be a christian too, but the gloves came off when
he got the absolute power he wanted! Bush is buying votes with God's name! The sheep will see the real lion if Bush wins!

7. I try not to
tar them all with the same brush, I know several wonderful people who are very solid in the Christian faith.

I think it is a particular type of person who is attracted to Bush. My observation (personal) is that some people who like Bush were out of control--with drugs, drinking etc before they "met Jesus" and now they need lots of control to keep their lives together--and they feel that they need a "daddy figure" like Bush seems to represent?

9. That's why I didn't
call them christians.

I am talking specificly about Bush and the people who are voting for him because they believe he is a good christian.
