The DNC will hold a conference call at 1:30 p.m. ET to announce an FEC complaint against Sinclair Broadcasting. More details as they become available.

5. Dirty tricks every inch of the way
is what we can expect. I have every expectation that the FEC won't do shit about this since it's staffed by repubes. If it goes to the Supremes we also know what we can expect.

IF in the unlikely event that Sinclair's stated intention is thwarted, the RNC can use the loss as a non-stated bargaining chip to allow an equivalent assault on our democracy.

6. Sinclair should have to split any donated time down the middle between
Republican and Democratic-chosen material. And, in their timeslot, the Demmocrats should allow Michael Moore to air an infomercial for F911!

As John McCain has said repeatedly, the FEC is a JOKE!

The FEC is more concerned about bare breasts and cussing on TV than it is about abuses of free speech by a media mogul.
