"My time is up?" Bush asked during the debate And we all roared: YES
when Edwards repeated this during a rally in Minnesota today.

It was in a Republican suburb and we parked in front of a house where they could not have enough pro-Bush anti Kerry signs. But it was great to see the hordes of people, most with some kind of Kerry Edwards bumper stickers and T-shirts descending on that high-school's gymnasium that quickly filled to capacity. This was a gorgeous 75-degree day and many of us wished that they had a last minute change to the adjacent outdoor stadium.

It took almost two hours from the time they opened the doors (or, at least, they said they would open the door) to the time all of us made it to the school and Edwards started talking. So I really cannot complain about all the "warm-up" speakers that I had no idea who they were. Last month, when he came for Labor Day, the "warm-up" speakers were Jim Hightower, Garrion Keillor and Walter Mondale and they were great.

This time I had no idea who they were, but one of them had a great advice: Call the White House and ask for Dick Cheney. Of course, you won't be able to talk to him but you can leave a message. And the message is: I met John Edwards and I am not about to ever forget that.
