to John and Theresa at the end of the first debate? bush and pickles had already left the building, of course, and John and Theresa walked up across the corner of the stage to leave, and the crowd went absolutely NUTS!

whoo hoo! wasn't that a great rally???!!! we got up early to drive down from laredo & snuck into the blue ticket seats, before 3 of us got hauled away to be put on stage. ;)

i thought teresa spoke eloquently and in a manner that made you feel as if she was just talking to you & a couple of your friends, not thousands of people likely to jump up & start screaming like fans at a rock concert. ;)

didn't find out about the rally until 10:30 last night, but i'm so glad i went!!

7. And it speaks to John Kerry's character that he's married to such a

strong woman ... that he tells the world he loves the fact that she speaks her mind.

Bush could never be married to a strong woman (well, Babs would squash her like a bug, anyway) ... he just couldn't take it.

14. Podium Pics - & SLUDGE & Dan COULTER Were Snickering

On Sludge's radio program last night, the two twins out of KUBRICK's "The Shining" were snickering that the JK campaign would send Ms KERRY to Texas at all, saying the local Dems believe that Texas is in play, "so what are they smoking?" And the evil twins said that the campaign has actually kept her under wraps, sending her only to safe places like NY.

But enough of their evil. Here she is during the first part where she was mainly behind the podium. She spoke for over an hour, a long policy speech. Actually, she was preaching to the choir, which just wanted more to overflow its enthusiasm for her. And in the second half she departed more and more from her material as she started to let the love SINK IN!!!!! The crowd was about 1300 and at the end she was mobbed.
