John Stewart and Letterman would pick up the Bush Transmitter story
Edited on Sat Oct-09-04 09:01 AM by Bushneedstogo
Both of them are our best chances of someone picking up the feedback sound of Bush's transmitter. Someone posted a video of Bush with a voice speaking right before Bush said something. This issue is more serious then we all know it.

The public has to find this out because Bush needs to be shown for what he is which is a war mongering shell of a man with no brain. We have to get this story into the media and the public needs to see the pictures of the transmitter on Bush's back.

Let's all do a massive email to John Stewart and David Letterman and ask them to pick this story up.

Can someone post a link to the Transmitter thread and the email addresses of John Stewart and Letterman.

1. I think it would be great on SNL, can you imagine them doing a
skit on Bush getting shocked by the transmission wire or something.

20. Do you remember the song that had truckers talking over a CB in it?
SNL could it as background music and then have Bush start singing to the tune.

5. I believe it was the last D Day Clebration in Normandy
Supposedly there were two voices on Bush's audio feed. The people in the audience were supposedly very confused.

7. NOOOOO! NOT THE EARPIECE!!!!!!
:evilfrown:
Someone posted a video that you can hear voices on?
I'd be interested to hear this added piece of "evidence" if you can dig it up.

It's no secret here I think the earpiece stuff is a distraction for us and America. The rumor is out there, so if there's any truth to it the truth will come out. Us looking to promote it leaves us vulnerable to looking......well, silly.

Here's my "evidence" to join the other "evidence".

Text from the site:
The plate below is described as
Our most popular Ceramic FRONT Rifle Plate
Triple-Curved to hug your body, plus extra taper for more freedom of movement.
The Back Plate is also Triple-Curved but more rectangular

Some have said that the object on his back appears to be only 3 inches wide, so it couldn't be a rifle plate. I submit the shadow only highlights one side of the 3-sided rifle plate.

Others have suggested that it WAS electronics, but it was a TRANSMITTER. A poster who works in the media business said it would be standard to have a wireless backup in case the signal from the podium was lost.

11. I'm confused. Are you confused about "transmitter" vs. "receiver"?
A transmitter would not be a device used for receiving secret prompting.

It would be used in this case as a standard backup for the podium electronics.

What about my post above showing pics of rifle plates? Do you accept that as a possibility?

9. Bush's performances suggest that It's true
Edited on Sat Oct-09-04 09:16 AM by baltodemvet
I don't tend to get engrossed in side shows like the font wars or the where did Kerry spend christmas flap and I don't think there's much point in pursuing the earpiece allegations. Having said that (insist on rebuttal), I....ah...I wouldn't be surprised if it were true that the Bush camp did use a real-time coaching system in the first debate. To my mind, it is a plausible explanation for the (right) um...an explanation of the President's stunningly inept performance in the first debate.

It seems to me that while such a tactic might sound like a good idea, it would be very (flip flop! flip flop!) as I was saying, it would be difficult to pull off in practice. It would require a high level (what?) of...intelligence and skill and a very intuitive relationship between the 'presenter' and the 'prompter' to make this work.

Imagine: you're up there trying to pull your thoughts together and you've got somebody constantly interrupting your train of thought--you've got to respond (let me finish) to...ah...to things coming in from an extraneous source at the same time you're trying to respond to your immediate context.

Bush lost last night's debate but he was reasonably coherent in the presentations of his evasions and misrepresentations. I think it's entirely possible that they did try to cheat in Debate One and penalized themselves as a result.

10. We have been talking about this since Bush stole office
Bush pauses when he speaks and he is clearly listening to someone read him his lines. If you don't think that this bit of information is important to the American public then your wrong.

Bush is an embarrassment to this country and he needs to be ran out of office.

12. The transmitter story was covered on Washington Journal
this morning. WJ moderator was reading the story from either the Washington Post or the New York Times - complete with a picture of the square "thing" in the middle of Bush's back. The story went on to the "internets" speculation that Bush was being fed the answers.

Bush's spokesman first said the photo had been "PhotoShopped" then backtracked when they realized the image was caught on several cameras and videos over a period of time (don't recall them denying Dubya being fed the answers, tho.), then they said it was just a wrinkling of the suit material from the way he was standing! And, of course, they strongly emphasized that Bush did NOT wear a bullet proof vest. No girly man is he!

Guess BoyGeorge must have done something to upset the Great God of Worsted Wool and He decided to exact his revenge on the BushBoy in the first debate. Who believes this stuff? A wrinkle? LOL.

And it is being covered on the national media. Whoo boy, this is good for a chuckle.

15. Did you hear him laugh while reading the article?
We need to keep calling in and make this an issue until it's addressed in all of the newspapers and the right wing media.

13. It's a sideshow
as long as all we have is circumstantial evidence and speculation. If there's good hard proof, it's a Bush killer.

14. Olberman covered it yesterday
He showed the up close and clear pics. A little later he had an interview with one of shrub's handlers and dropped the question on him. The guy looked shaken up and started stammering he then came up with "that was the presidents strong backbone" ( not an exact quote but very close). When Olberman pressed him again and asked " is that your real answer" the guys said " yes it is". The interviewed ended there.

His expressions were priceless after he heard the other voice right before Bush started speaking.

19. The WP has the photo and WH quotes saying nothing is there
...not even a vest. Now that's really weird.

snip>
Several officials, pressed for a serious answer, flatly denied that anything was fishy about the hump. These officials said they had checked and that there was nothing under Bush's jacket -- not a wire, not a transmitter, not a garage door opener. Bush was not wearing a protective vest, sources said.
