His big mistake was being angry with the moderator.

2. He yelled over him several times.
Gibson would have been right to say something like, "Calm down, Mr. President" It was that bad.

3. For a man so proud of his record
he is defiantly defensive about it. He can't stand being challenged and got visibly pissed every time this happened.

4. He was totally uncool.
Not like the anti-Fonzie. I mean the guy is a trapped rat. Very scary when it comes right down to it. The guy can't handle Charlie Gibson and a handful of Missouri voters, but he wants us to trust him with our country.

It really doesn't inspire confidence, by the way, for chimpy to begin every answer with the resounding UHHHHHHHHHH..........

6. very limited ability to self censor...
...definitely inherited Babs' nasty temper. Completely unattractive in a leader, also a big turn off for women, together with his belief that we shouldn't be in charge of our own bodies.

imho, he's just dug a deeper hole for his campaign tonight by alienating a few more swing voters

7. That's the perfect description
Bush was exactly the Angry White Man that his base loves. I bet Rush Limbaugh was creamin' his jeans. For the Limbaugh crowd, Bush was perfect tonight. As R. Crumb portrayed, 'he's a rough tough cream puff that takes no gruff when he struts his stuff.'

13. He had to blink
He was trying so hard not to scowl! Maybe they filled him up with Botox. Maybe the eye blinks were Morse Code.

11. He struck me as a frightened man.
Like the Viet Cong soldier Kerry tracked down and killed, only now Bush is in Kerry's sights and Bush knows he won't survive.

It's why he was yelling and cutting off the monitor.

Very frightened man.

14. What I noticed was the constant whining
Shrub was hectoring, whining, his voice constantly in the upper registers.

But seriously, I think the moment that'll resonate most with those 'undecideds' is how Bush was utterly unable to come up with one mistake beyond a mumbled "some appointments" -- when he was asked for the three he thought were the biggest.

Bring out the jam boys, this guy is toast.
