16. Don't stop!
Barack Obama continued campaigning when Jack Ryan dropped out as though he was in the race alone at the time. And he hasn't stopped even though he's way up on Keyes now.

3. I agree!
Intelligence vs. dumb ass still does the trick.

Now, let's get out the vote and do it!!! People know what they want. Kerry has promised to give it to them. Bush has promised more of the same, failing crap he has given us all along. It is the same crap that he put into the companies he has ever been involved in: Failure.

A spoiled brat who was handed a Presidency is not going to cut the cake and I don't think we should all be held responsible for propping up his ego now. He has had enough and his failure is something he will just have to deal with. He has used us, and our system, to try to make himself look like something he is not. No more years!

America is not a toy for Bush to play with and our failure means that millions of lives will be affected. In today's troubled times, we need a real winner with a viable plan. Kerry is that man.

4. I never say that. I never get the feel who will win.
I always have to wait to the night of the vote. I not once have got the feel for it and I first voted for Ike. Yar I used to be an old time Republican. But then a lot of Dem voted for Ike. Every one was willing to get our of Korea and he was really well liked.

And contratulations on the excellent birthday party you and your toddler will have!

(I don't care what other people say; I think it's a great age. They're full of piss and vinegar, but also creativity and joy.)

10. Thank you!
My son will (hopefully) be growing up as a happy young American. I hope his 2 first years won't scar him, but my 2 first were under Nixon, and I think I survived.

Thanks be to God for Ford and Carter!

8. Yup
all of the major network and cable polls have Kerry winning by a very large margin.

I just looked at one of the television polls that has Kerry at 95 percent and Bush at 4 percent

Someone on CNN should have told that idiot Anne Coulter that CNN's poll has Kerry winning at 90 percent and Bush getting 10 percent.

There are virtually no polls having Bush in the lead, much less getting more that 30 percent at best accept one small poll in Colorado that has Bush winning.

If this debate gives Kerry even half of the bounce that the first debate did, the election is already over/

11. I live in a city and county that is so conservative
That we have 14 city commission sats up in two cities in the county that I live in and there is not one democrat available to run for any of the seats in these two small cities. This county is on of the couties that diesenfranchised over 37,000 democratic voters in the years 2000, throwing out all of those votes , claiming that they were filled out wrong, and then simply prevented another 30, 000 people from voting by stating that they were not at the correct polling place, or were on a list as being ineligible to vote because they were felons. The local democratic part ha been attempting to get the records and memos of the Supervisor of election in this area opened under Freedom of Information and the republican supervisor is completely avoiding providing the information.

There are two registered Republicans for every registered democrat in this county, so getting rid of democrat votes has a much greater effect on a vote.

However this was the result of a local tlevision poll about this debate:

President George W. Bush 12213 23%

Sen. John Kerry 41086 77%

They tied 319 1%

http://cf.news4jax.com/jax/sh/con_surveycontest_display/sur_results_nt.cfm

This poll is in a population of one million, so even though it is unscientific, the number of people who voted represent about 5 percent of the population and something like 20 percent of the registered voters. In easily the most conservative large city in this state.

15. Trust me
This area is so lackingin democrats that while having coffee with a member of the democartic party's executive comittee just before the debates, he suggested that they should run me as a democratic candidate.

Trust me. If it comes to thinking I could run, the party in this area is in sorry shape.
